Colorado Springs, U.S.
My favorite place on earth. Colorado. I look through this gallery so often to just reminisce on the warmth I felt while driving through the flowing fields and mountains. I've been to Colorado a couple times, but the trip pictured below was with my mom. It holds such a special place in my heart. It's so comforting to know I got to explore my favorite place with my favorite person.
Silver Lakes Sand Dunes, U.S.
This place is a gem that makes you feel like you're on another planet- and it's only a 4 hour drive away from my home. Myself and my favorite ally, Alexis, packed up my Jeep with snacks and supplies (you're welcome for the Red Hot Chili Peppers reference) and hit the road early in the morning on a Saturday during fall.
Death Valley California, U.S.
Another "this is really my job?" trip. I had to absolute pleasure of taking off to California with this awesome dude. Conner was a senior in high school that worked at a coffee shop in my home-town. I'd seen him here and there throughout his time in Defiance. When he messaged me and asked if he could bring me along to California to shoot his senior photos I quickly replied a resounding "hell ya". Conner and I stayed a night in Chicago, then flew out to LAX and stayed the next night in Hollywood.
