Michigan Dunes, U.S.

This place is a gem that makes you feel like you're on another planet- and it's only a 4 hour drive away from my home. Myself and my favorite ally, Alexis, packed up my Jeep with snacks and supplies (you're welcome for the Red Hot Chili Peppers reference) and hit the road early in the morning on a Saturday during fall. We sang our favorite songs for the whole drive, took the top off of my Jeep, and fueled ourselves with candy. We even got to stop and visit another friend along the way for a margarita. All around wonderful vibes for a last minute trip to the dunes.
